Feature Friday is here!
Every Friday, I will highlight one project that was published in a past, or in the current issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine! HOORAY! Just another fabulous way to showcase so many amazing projects that our followers have shared with us throughout the past 15 years!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE
Oh, my word…. that photo is SPECTACULAR! This beautiful layout was designed by Sandy Ross from Burford, Ontario. Even after all these years – board-like background patterned paper speaks to me!!! I love the warmth it brings to layouts. Not to mention it is absolutely PERFECT for Heritage photos. You know what… we need to pull these types of photos out of their shoeboxes, (make copies of course) AND scrapbook them! Make that a little challenge for you this year. Scrapbook a page or two of days gone by. Your family will love you for it! Thank you for the inspiration Sandy!
Here are the supplies Sandy used to create this layout:
- Fancy Pants Designs Corrugated Paper
- Bo Bunny Patterned Paper, Stickers, and Chipboard
- American Crafts Thickers
- Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink
- Ranger Texture Paste
- Glaze Pen
- Kaisercraft Wood Veneer
- American Tag Company Tag
- Unknown Buttons, Twine, Brads, Metal Key and Key Ring
Sandy’s layout was published in the Fall 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.

Thank you so much for featuring my layout and your kind comments. I agree, get those photos out of the shoebox and bring them to life. My Great Aunt Ada would be thrilled to see herself featured!
