Hello crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here and today I am sharing 3 projects that I created using the Pink & Main monthly kit. I cannot even begin to tell you how gorgeous this kit was, and it was PACKED with beautiful coordinating products to create with. Below is a photo of everything that was included in the kit I created with. First I decided to create this simple block background layout. I used patterned papers and embossed white cardstock to create the 4 background blocks, that then were matted in white cardstock.
Adhere the matted blocks to a white cardstock background using Crafty Foam Tape. I chose coordinating Media Gloss Sprays and splattered diagonally across the layout on the embossed cardstock sections of the background. Let dry.
I stamped the dragonfly images onto white cardstock using an embossing pad, and Ranger- Black Embossing Powder.I made sure to stamp and color lots so that I would have enough for all of my planned projects. Next I added color to the images using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. Once dry, I cut out the images using the coordinating dies. Add Stickles to the wings for a little extra sparkle.
Even the info card that came in this card was beautiful, so I used the sentiment strip printed on it on my layout, flagging one end and adding to the layout using Thin 3D Foam Squares.
I matted the two 3×4 photos in white cardstock. I chose 2 patterned papers for beneath the matted photos and distressed the teal green layer. Adhere to the middle of the background. Add the matted photos to the middle of the layout using Crafty Foam Tape.
I added the dragonfly images to the layout using 3D Foam Squares. Then the final touch were some of the coordinating enamel dots from the kit.
Next I wanted to showcase the gorgeous sequins mix that was included in this kit. So I created a shaker card. I used circle dies to cut the basic shaker layers, including the acetate front. Stamp the sentiment using Archival- Jet Black ink in the middle of the pink cardstock base layer.
Cut the layers for your card base from patterned paper and white cardstock for the A2 card.
Create the shaker using 3D Foam Squares White Small and the Dual Tip Glue Pen. Add the beautiful sequins mix into the shaker before closing it up. Add to the card front.
Add the dragonfly images to the card using Adhesive Dots Micro. Then I added Stickles for that little extra sparkle.
My final creation is this fun slimline card. I cannot get enough of the beautiful patterned papers in this kit, so this is a way to use lots of them. Using a 1.75” circle punch, I punched the patterned circles then cut them all in half. Next I cut the same amount of white cardstock scalloped 2” circles. Cut these in half also, and adhere the patterns to the scalloped pieces.
Create a simple layered card front from white cardstock and a card base from the teal cardstock. Stamp the card sentiment to the right hand side of the card front using Archival- Jet Black ink. Add the half circles to the top and bottom of the card using Thin 3D Foam Squares. Next add the large dragonfly using 3D Foam Squares. Add Stickles to the wings for some sparkle. The final touch is to add a few enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my creations.
