Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you how to create this So Much World Wall Hanging which uses the Away We Go Collection from Echo Park Paper. Stitched Rounded Squares from Elizabeth Craft Designs
Adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home.
To start, you’ll need the yellow floral paper out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 5 ¼” Stitched Rounded Square from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the square.
Next, you’ll need the multi floral paper out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 5” Fitted Rounded Square from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the square.
Out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper, you’ll need the blue compass paper. Die cut a 4 ¾” Stitched Rounded Square from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the paper. Distress the edges of the square.
Next, you’ll need the globe paper out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 2” x 4 ¾”. Distress the edges of the paper.
Out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper, you’ll need the pink cross paper. Cut a piece that measures 1 ½” x 4 ¾”. Distress the edges of the paper.
Next, you’ll need the 3×4 cut apart paper out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper. Cut out the So Much World Card. From the two other cards on the paper that have the stacked suitcases and camera, fussy cut them out.
Choose three stamps off the paper out of the Away We Go Collection Kit from Echo Park Paper. Cut the three stamps out and distress the edges.
The last piece of patterned paper out of the Away We Go Collection from Echo Park Paper that you need is the hot air balloons. Fussy cut four hot air balloons and three clouds out.
Next, you’ll need the light pink cardstock paper out of the Away We Go Coordinating Solids Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 3 1/8” x 4 ¼”. Distress the edges of the paper.
Using E-Z Runner Permanent Tape from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the multi floral square to the yellow floral square. Adhere the compass square to the multi floral square.
Using E-Z Runner Permanent Tape from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the pink cross paper to the globe paper. Adhere the globe paper 3/8” from the left and all the way to the bottom of the 4 ¾” square.
Use E-Z Runner Permanent Tape from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the So Much World card to the pink cardstock piece. Adhere the three stamps as desired on the left hand side of the pink cardstock piece. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the pink cardstock piece ¾” from the left and ¼” from the bottom of the 4 ¾” square.
In the bottom right corner of the So Much World Card, use E-Z Runner Permanent Tape and 3D Foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the stacked suitcase, camera, three clouds and four hot air balloons as desired.
In the top left corner of the So Much World Card, use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere two floral bunches off the sticker sheet out of the Away We Go Collection from Echo Park Paper. Use 3D Foam squares to adhere an arrow sticker and heart in amongst the floral bunches.
In the bottom right corner, adhere a heart in amongst the stacked suitcases and hot air balloon. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere an arrow in amongst the hot air balloons in the right side of the So Much World Card. Add some Away We Go Enamel Dots from Echo Park Paper to the centres of three of the flowers as well as two in the top right corner and three in the bottom left corner of the So Much World Card.
To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the square. Tie a piece of white twine through each hole to create a hanger.
