Magazine Life

From Ball provincials to dance school in Edmonton and a trip to Vancouver – I have been nutso busy with family!  Sorry for not posting more – I will share some photos in another post! What I am very excited about is this Have a look at the front cover of the Fall 2010 issue of CS!  Thank you to Heidi Brand for the goregous photo and to Christy Riopel for the fun design.  Christy used a pile of Harmonie tiles to create the tree on this layout – WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!! The fall issue will hit newsstands Sept 01!!!!  Can’t wait for you all to see it!

I am  a little behind with Happy Birthday Canada Wishes!!!! Forgive me fellow Canadians! Everyday really should be Canada Day – we are so lucky to live in this amazing country – I truly would not want to live anywhere else:) I found this layout on the Scrapbooking Fanatics Blog It is designed by Connie Paxman and I love the vintage Canadian feel!

Every once and awhile you meet someone who fits perfectly into your life – like a missing piece in your puzzle!  For me that person is Cathie Allan! This lady is so genuine, kind, crazy and fills me with so much creative inspiration! I know I have said this before – and I will keep saying it – if you ever get the chance to meet this amazing lady, take a class, do a make and take – whatever – do not miss this opportunity!  She is one of the most talented people I have ever met!  Today I am celebrating Cathie – for no particular reason – other then I WANT TO! Thank you Cathie!  We are so lucky that you call Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine home!  Big juicy hugs! Love ya

Thankful For all the wonderful friends I have made since starting Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine.  I get to spend the day with Cathie, Sue, Kim, Connie and Jayme inking, stamping, creating and most importantly giggling!
