Hello Creative Scrapbookers! My name is Jayme Loge and I hope you enjoy this little blog offering for your inspiration.  Because let me tell you, my oh my! did I have fun playing with these adorable Whoot stamp collection from Art Impressions! I just love their squeezable, squishable big-eyed faces! They are simple enough cards, but a lot of work goes into coloring or painting the images and I just didn’t want to get in the way of their whooty cuteness! The first card I made features a simple stenciled background (Tim Holtz stencils). I used a sponge applicator and Dylusions paint over a page torn out from an old book. I totally geek out over using book pages any time I can! I colored the stamped image with Chameleon markers and assembled everything on a Kraft cardstock. The next card features a row of water colored Whoot with a…

Kerry Engel has been very busy in her studio over the last couple of weeks, sharing and creating projects for our Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Instagram stories. Here is a super cute GET WELL tag she created on our story that had me in giggles. Kerry used Art Impressions clear stamps, Chameleon Color Tone pens, Ranger gesso and ink, and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to create this tag.  Here is a close-up side view of the stamped image popped up with 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.   Be sure to follow Creative Scrapbooker Magazine on Instagram so that you do not miss any of Kerry’s awesome creations. Hello friends! Tracy McLennon here, and I am loving that Autumn is right around the corner in my neck of the woods. Cooler days, changing leaves and of course pumpkin spice everything. To celebrate in a crafty way, I created this Take Life One Cup At A Time card, with a fall colour scheme. I started my creation by stamping this fabulous Art Impressions image onto white cardstock using black Archival Ink. Then I added colour using Chameleon Pens. I did so using some simple bold shading for more of a cartoon look. Then I simply fussy cut around the images leaving a narrow white border. I inked the edges of all of my patterned and cardstock layers using Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink. Using patterned papers from the Hello Fall collection from Carta Bella, I hand cut leaves that were about 1.5” long and 1” wide. Then I added them…

Hello and good day! Kim here on the blog with another fun card using a fun stamp set from Art Impressions! You can never have enough birthday cards on hand, so that’s what I have to share today! Art Impressions has so many wonderful stamps; and although they have a gorgeous series of watercolor stamps, and animal characters, I am personally drawn to the cheeky humour of people stamps! They always seem to have the perfect quote to go along with the perfect image…and they ALWAYS make me laugh! Without further delay, let’s peek at the birthday card I made to share! It was such a fun card to make and actually quite quick to make. Here is a look at the process! My Color Box pigment inks from ClearSnap, my Chameleon pens and my circle dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs all worked seamlessly together with the Art Impressions stamp…
