I recently REALLY started to play with all my watercolor stamp sets from Art Impressions (not just collecting  them – giggle giggle). AND WOW! The results are so fun and seriously so easy to create beautiful watercolor scenes. Here is a card I spotted on the Art Impressions blog designed by the very talented, Tricia O’Bin. How adorable s this design?!?!?!? I could jump right in this scene and enjoy a cup of java or two!!! Tricia used a variety of Art Impression watercolor stamp sets including the Wrought Iron Set and the Large Shops Set. She added all the beautiful colour with Tombow markers. My summer garden inspired the big floral explosion on this card. This was the first time I’ve used these watercolor stamps by Art Impressions. It was very addictive. Watching the bouquets come to life is magical.  Creating depth with a mask. To create the row of stamped pots I made a mask out of the pot and used it to create depth. The first pot I stamped was the third on from the left. After I stamped the middle pot I laid down the mask on top of it and then stamped a pot to the left, overlapping the image a bit. Then I put the mask down on that second pot and stamped the far left, over lapping again.  The pot on the far right was stamped last. Build a bouquet. Using the Art Impressions foliage and flower sets I created the bouquets inside my pots. Layering the branches…

This new collection of stamps and coordinating dies, called the Hats Off-Line, from Art Impressions is FABULOSA! The new collection has three sets of stamps that include the coordinating dies to make cutting the bits and pieces a breeze. The names of the sets are pretty easy to remember – Miss Set, Mrs. Set, and Mr. Set! PERFECTION! How adorable are all those HATS!!!! Here is a gorgeous little card I found over on the Art Impressions Facebook page created by Tasha Jorgensen. Tasha’s card features the Mrs. Set. LA LA LOVE IT! Pop on over the Art Impressions website for all the details! (PS- do you see those little face mask stamps?!?!?!?) Happy Monday Friends!

What do you get when you mix Art Impressions Rubber Stamps with Simple Stories?!?!? A charming little card that makes you feel like spring! To create the card I cut a card front from a piece of pink striped patterned paper from the Simple Stories Bunnies & Bloom collection. I cut the same size card front from Ranger Simon Hurley Create Stark White cardstock. Using a Sizzix Framelits circle die, I cut out a circle window in the upper portion of both the card fronts – in the exact same spot. Using Glue Dots Adhesives Gluetape I adhered the two-card fronts together. This process made the pink stripe paper stronger so I could pop it up later. Next, cut out a piece of Prima Marketing white watercolor paper. Pop it into your Tonic Studios  Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. Securing it into place. Stamp the Art Impressions floral stamp onto the…

Hi Everybody, Cathie Allan here today to share with you a card I made for myself. Yes …. for me! I love making these types of cards because it allows me to get my photos off of my phone or my computer and share them by displaying some of my favorites in my home.  I make cards like this all year but most of them “go away” to a new home as I am always creating them for someone’s birthday, graduation, wedding etc. How I love creating one of a kind, very personal cards … I tend to always add photos in my cards …. for my special peeps but today …. that special peep is “me”. This “Me card” focuses on some amazing photos sent to me of my youngest “Grandhandsome son” Max. They simply could not just be on my phone …. they needed to be out and…
