Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a  layout that features some adorably funny Art Impressions stamps.  These stamps always brings a huge smile to my face.  Although I’m sure they are most often used to make cards, why not use them to embellish a scrapbook layout?  I had the perfect photograph to go with a stamp of three friends drinking wine! Stamps Used Here’s the Art Impressions stamp sets I used.  I had two sets of funny wine stamps in my stash and I wanted to use them both.  I stamped and coloured the ladies from the Girlfriends set with markers, then stamped some of the funny wine expressions, cutting each of them out and backing with black cardstock. The one booth that is sure to make you smile at the tradeshow is Art Impressions. Their stamps have hilarious images and cute caricatures of people and animals that will brighten any card or project. And this year AI is celebrating 30 years in business!! 30 years of making people laugh and smile is a pretty good thing. Stamping with your Dies by Cathie Allan Mediums and tools that multi-task always have a special place in my creative heart. I totally enjoy looking at my creative tools, toys and mediums from various sides to see what I can get them to do for me other than the “intended use” suggested by the manufacturer. For this blog post I decided to play with the “Heart Clasp Die” from Art Impressions. This die makes a lovely wrap for a card but by joining two of these dies I was able to wrap my scrapbook page and then of course wrapped my photo. I then took this die a “stamp step” forward by applying ink to the backside of the die I thus was able to use it as a stamp. Look at that die “go”!!
