Hello everyone Kerry Engel here today on the blog having fun with the Canada 150 logo. Did you know that the super cute Canada 150 logo is available for you to download? There are so many imaginative ways for us to use it. A quick search on Pinterest revealed that quilters have taken up the challenge but I haven’t seen many paper crafters doing anything imaginative with this inspirational design. (Except of course, Tracy’s McLennon’s coloring page that’s available free on our website!) – CLICK HERE to get Tracy’s colouring page. The logo was created by Arian, Cuvin from Toronto, Ontario. According to the website “The logo is composed of a series of diamonds, or “celebratory gems”, arranged in the shape of the iconic maple leaf. Hi everyone – Noreen Smith here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog.Do you use sketches in your scrapbooking? They are so versatile and you can use them over and over again, right? Well, you can really do the same thing with a card sketch! At this time of year there are so many occasions that you might be creating cards for, so why not use one sketch as the basic design and change up your supplies to create all of the cards you need quickly and easily? Each month I design a “1-2-3 Card Sketch” that gets its name because it uses just 1 sentiment, 2 paper shapes and 3 embellishments. I create a handout with the sketch and measurements as well as samples of the finished cards, along with a video that demonstrates how quick it can be to create cards using this formula (if you’re interested, you…
