Tuesday With The Team gets Cabin Fever

Happy Tuesday everyone! Is the sun shining in your neck of the woods and possibly sending a spring vibe to your world? It’s Kim here with a Tuesday With the Team layout share! My layout is NOT very springy but since we are officially still in winter, here I go! I used our January Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout. Rotating it to the left seemed to work best for me. I was thrilled to pull out my Carta Bella ‘Cabin Fever’ collection! From the first time I set my eyes on this collection I LOVED IT. It definitely gives off a cozy, winter vibe and was perfect for the photos I wanted to share. Hey Creative Scrapbooker Magazine fans – Katelyn Grosart on the blog today. Fall is in full swing and it’s hard to believe that Christmas is only a few months away. Hello CSM scrapbookers! Kim here, thanks for dropping by the blog to see what I have been up to! Last September; my hubby and I went to Scotland for a wonderful, two-week holiday. I am still in the process of culling through pictures and scrapbooking some of our adventures. The layout I am sharing today uses the gorgeous “transatlantic TRAVEL” collection by Carta Bella. The paper is such beautiful quality and the collection lent itself well to a travel location so rich in history and well…across the Atlantic Ocean! My layout uses patterned paper, journal cards [cut from a 12×12 sheet], stickers and a quote border all from the same collection. I have added a journaling insert behind the photo mat; this also allows an extra photo to be placed on the back of my journaling. Tuesday with the Team – Jodi Wilton

Hi everyone! Jodi Wilton here today to show a quick celebration card using Core’dintations ColorCore Cardstock and Sizzix Dies. I love having birthday cards at hand, and by combining the fun bright colours of Spotted by Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock and the fun ice cream die by Sizzix- a fun and fast card can be created! Here is the card that I came up with: The card base was also Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock and then added two layers of patterned paper (Carta Bella). I sewed around each piece of patterned paper for extra detail. Finally I cut out the ice cream pieces and the banner. I added some distress ink in a similar colour to each of the pieces to really bring out the spots on the cardstock.
