Hey there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here! It’s kind of a Creative Memories tradition that a new Baby collection arrives each Spring, and the new Storytime Collection is so cute that I had to dig out my boys’ baby photos and create some new layouts! What I love about this collection is that everything mix and matches together beautifully and will work for both boy and girl layouts! It features two paper packs, two sticker packs, an embellishment pack, a variety mat card pack, gorgeous album covers, pre-designed refill pages, and even gift box bundles that would be the perfect gif for a new mom! I had two sweet photos of my son Grayson as a newborn that I wanted to feature, and Kerry Engel’s April Sketchy Challenge sketch was perfect to showcase them! I love finding a new sketch from Kerry every month on the CSM Sketchy Challenge Page for…

One lucky winner is going home with their Explorer Collection!!!! YAHOOO! Dare to be adventurous with the Explorer collection! These outdoor recreation scrapbook supplies were inspired by nature adventures and activities like camping, hiking, and fishing, and evoke a warm, rustic feel with a palette of olive green, retro blues, brick red, and chocolate brown. The collection includes a 12×12 foiled album cover with a fishing line and lure design, a paper pack featuring original designs with rugged plaid flannels, patterns inspired by campfire blankets and bandanas, national park maps, lake-life designs and more, and stickers with icons such as pinecones, animal tracks, and branches, and outdoorsy sayings like “Wild and Free,” “Flannel Fever” and “May the Forest Be With You.” You’ll love…

Hi friends…Noreen Smith from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here! Have you ever been so excited about something that you just couldn’t wait to get it? That you had to have it – NOW? That’s the way I felt about the new Explorer Collection and the Camouflage Paper Pack! When these new products launched earlier this week I ordered them right away, but knew they wouldn’t be here for a week or so. Thank goodness both collections are available as Digital Art Kits! I purchased them online, downloaded them, and within minutes was using them to create digital layouts. Since I’m a Boy Mom who lives close to the Rocky Mountains and has a cabin in the woods, these papers and embellishments seemed to be made just to highlight our family photos! The outdoorsy patterns, rustic colors, and camping, fishing, and hiking imagery will be perfect to document any kind of masculine photos and…

Today I’m sharing my layout, inspired by our March Sketchy Challenge. Sketches are always a great place to start your creative process…it’s almost like oil for  the cogs of your creative brain.I like to flip and rotate sketches to see all the different ways I can play with it. As you see by my finished layout I opted to rotate counter clockwise. My large block became two photos to fill a similar space and my two small squares became a 4×6 photo with a small inset photo. Let your brain work with the spaces of the sketch but be open to mix it up! You’ll be amazed at how many ways one sketch can unfold differently on several layouts! Here are some of the supplies I pulled out to work with! I chose to play with the  Creative Memories Secret Garden collection including their paper and stickers. This collection is…

Soft pastels and summer vibes. Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. The Creative Memories Blend and Bloom collection includes patterned paper, embellishments, and stickers that can be layered to create subtle, soft,” summery” pages. My Kuaui photos in this layout have a soft, over exposed finish and they softly whispered “Blend and Bloom”. I combined both the blue and green paper packages and was inspired by the February sketchy challenge. I just adore the laser cut leaves. You can use either side of the leaf-they are slightly different colors. Both colors combine perfectly and mimics the subtle shades of a summer garden. There are several different leaf shapes that look great as a single focal point or combined to create a garden or bouquet. I crunched up the bottom right corner of my paper so I could tuck in a leaf vine. Keeping items close together…

Hey there! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share some ideas for using two fabulous new Paper Packs from Creative Memories – Rustic Manor and Sky & Water. These collections include gorgeous photographic background papers that can be a bit intimidating to use. These amazing collections feature beautifully photographic background papers that include images of water, sky, beaches, clouds, the Northern Lights, trees, foliage, moss, marble, and wood grains. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been a little apprehensive about using these types of papers…I mean, the background images are so lovely, why would you cover them up? On top of that usually, there are no specific embellishments that coordinate with the papers. It always seemed kind of daunting, so I’ve steered clear of these papers in the past. But when I saw these new papers, I knew I had to challenge myself to use them, and I love…

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Katelyn Grosart here today. I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing with you my Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go Frame. This frame is perfect to add to your home décor or put in a kids room. To create my frame,  I’ve used the Mermaid Cove Collection from Creative Memories Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite winter beverage as I share with you how to recreate my frame at home. To start, you’ll need to choose a patterned paper piece out of the Mermaid Cove Paper Pack from Creative Memories. Die cut the Happy Frame, from Elizabeth Craft Designs, four times out of the patterned paper. Adhere each die cut strip together to create four separate sides. Adhere the four sides together to create your…

Hi friends! Noreen Smith from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here on the CSM blog today sharing some tips on using a fantastic tool from Creative Memories – the Collage Wreath Recipe Template! This is the latest in a series of wonderful templates that can really take your layouts to the next level!  The mylar template can be used over and over again to create a wide variety of scrapbook pages by rotating the stencil and/or flipping it to the other side, and you can customize each layout by choosing which the of traceable elements you want to feature in your layout. Simply place the template on top of patterned paper or cardstock, trace the shapes you want with a pencil, cut them out and arrange them on your album page or cardstock. I created a few different variations to show you just how versatile this tool is! In this first layout, I wanted…
