I discovered the newest Clearsnap ColorBox Dyestress Inks…gorgeous hues of beautiful ink along with a fabulous Sizzix Mini Album design by Sizzix Artist Lynda Kanase! Begin by applying layers of Dyestress Tahiti, Mint and Bubble inks to the front and back Mini Album die cuts using Clearsnap ColorBox Stylus and Tips. Place the covers together; lay Clearsnap ColorBox Swirldot Art Screen to top; apply Tahiti Dyestress inks to top using stylus and tip. Stamp background image using Dyestress Tahiti inks to each cover. Add bind to prepared covers. Adheres insert binding to inside bind. Adhere Succulent Serenity pattern paper to inside covers. Die cut pages using pattern paper. Attach pages by adhering them to the binding strips. Die cut doily; adhere to the front of cover along with the circle. Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the Explorer Journal by Momenta. When I first saw this glittery Momenta journal I envisioned a metallic-y, jewel-studded boho book. I was thinking of gold glitter, soft jute, and beach beads. To achieve my boho look I took apart an old necklace to create dangling embellishments and I strung beads on a fishing wire. I tied lots of jute and attached tags that protruded and extended over the sides. The Explorer Journal is made of a heavy, sturdy, leather-like fabric. To embroider on it I pre-punched holes with an awl. I stitched the flowers using the lazy daisy stitch and cotton thread.
