Hello! It’s Jayme Loge here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I am sharing some cute gift tags I made for some very special people in my life. At the end of May I travel to Canmore Alberta with an incredible group of ladies to run in the Rocky Mountain Soap Women’s Run. Some of us are athletic and some of us are not (*cough* me* *cough*), but everyone is positive and supportive and even though I have to run up and down mountains, I enjoy the weekend away very much! A couple of years ago, I shared another gift bag and tag I made for these ladies, which you can see here. Ranger and Sizzix I again used the Dylusions sprays from Ranger, but this time I layered transferred images from stencils as a background. The butterflies were made with a die set from Sizzix, that I cut…

Christmas Tags Instead of Christmas Cards Working within magazine timelines is kinda crazy. You could be sitting on the beach sun tanning while working on your Christmas assignments for the winter issue. LOL! Each and every summer at Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, we start to plan for and start creating the projects within the upcoming winter issue. I will send out the assignments when the weather is warm and hear back from each of our designers with questions and their suggestions. Christy Riopel ALWAYS ALWAYS came back with the same thing….. “I will make Christmas tags instead of Christmas cards!” – giggle, giggle. She just didn’t enjoy the creative process of putting together a card. BUT tags – tags she loved! The Winter 2012 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Check out these gorgeous Christmas tags Christy created for the Winter 2012 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Christy used Karen Foster Designs…
Coffee Helps by Cathy Caines “Life Happens. Coffee Helps.” This bag of beans wasn’t always busted open. Oh no. It’s wasn’t. I finished up my projects using the Stampin’ Up! Coffee Café stamp set and co-ordinating Coffee Cups Framelits die…. … I laid them on the dining counter ready to photograph the next day when the sun rose. And then I saw this…ARGH! My son Jack thought the beans were raisins and had been fiddling around to open the bag. What’s the strangest thing is that he doesn’t like raisins. He picks them out of the trail mix packages from Costco. But that’s when I noticed the tag. “Life Happens. Coffee Helps.” Exactly. This is it. Life happens. Coffee is important to me. I crave it. I drink it black and I like it super hot. I don’t re-heat because it never tastes right after that. I like to drink…
