Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share some designing tips using Spellbinders® dies. I created this vintage layout by layering Spellbinders die cuts behind my photo. I used the beautiful graphic 45 “Botanical Tea” collection, which I thought was perfect for this photo of my mom and her friends having a casual tea party back in 1953. This gorgeous Spellbinders Nestabilities® set called “Elegant Ovals” (S4-425) die cut beautifully with this cream card stock (which came in the graphic 45 paper pack) Just look at those intricate cut designs! You cannot get that result from an electronic cutting machine. I used the dies themselves to trace the same shapes from patterned paper to fit inside each Elegant Oval. All of my embellishments are either graphic 45 stickers or fussy cut from the patterned papers. I can always count on Spellbinders dies for intricate cut designs that really pop…

I’ve been married for almost 30 years, have two wonderful young adult children and two wild rambunctious puppies!! They all keep my life interesting and full of laughs.
