I made an ornament. A deliciously cute ornament. The cutest part is that if you look closely, you can see a sweet Christmas tree inside. This ornament was created in the wee hours of the morning like many of my projects while I was “face-timing” with a friend. Although I had the idea of making an ornament using the Stampin’ Up! Home Sweet Home die, she came up with the idea for the mini tree inside. She’s a genius. Note: These brush trees were bought from Target in the USA when I was visiting last month. How I miss Target in Canada. Whenever I cross the border, you can see me filling up my bags with crates, twine, wire baskets, etc. Let us now bow our heads to mourn the loss of Target. Hi everyone! It’s Kelly here, feeling a bit panicked now that Christmas is quickly approaching. I always make a handful of cards at this time of year for those special people in my life (and when you receive one, I guess you will now know you’re ‘special’) Since I am totally obsessed with lettering and watercolors, I thought I would combine the two for my card. Hi everyone and welcome to September! You might be a little confused because of the Santas in the pictures above. But it’s definitely September and not December. September 1st was the kick off for the latest Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog and I couldn’t wait to show you some products from the book. These cards stay true to my lean and clean style. The vintage style stamps are incredibly gorgeous. This one, called Father Christmas, is stunning and a must have item. As far as I am concerned, it’s never too early to start preparing for the holiday season. This month I made a quick video to show you how to watercolour easily with the Stampin’ Write markers and an aquapainters. Click on the link below to watch the demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g2aWqHl-sg Enjoy the video, which includes some of my process while creating a card. Until next month creative friends!…
