What’s Your Scrapbook Style? I Mix It Up!

Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim here! Have you ever thought about how you start a layout? Are you consistent or do you mix it up? I mix it up! Sometimes I love to start with a sketch or a particular photo may inspire me and sometimes I like to choose the product first. The project I’m sharing today was all about using my stash of Stampers Anonymous stamps! Please note…no patterned paper was harmed in the process! I pulled out a sheet of CSM Super Stock [primed with a thin layer of gesso] and brayered on some with some Distress Inks. I love the texture the brayer creates! I then removed some of the ink with a stencil and baby wipe.Next, I layered on some stamps of various patterns. This process of making a background is so fun and very relaxing. Simple Vintage Christmas Layout

Hello crafty friends, Tracy McLennon here. Today I have a beautifully festive layout to share using the new Simple Vintage Christmas Collection from Simple Stories. I adore everything about this collection. The classic Christmas palette, the vintage imagery and the sheer selection of fabulous coordinating embellishments. This collection has so much crafty potential for all sorts of your holiday crafting and scrapbooking. I love to create with lots of layers, texture, and dimension. So each of these bits, pieces, and patterned layers have dimension thanks to Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares, Thin 3D Foam Squares, and Crafty Foam Tape. You’ll also find the coordinating washi tape here and there adding pops of colour. Some finishing touches include gold glitter enamel dots and ivory buttons. Tuesday with the Team – Connie Nichol with Art-C, Momenta and Impression Obsession

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a fall layout featuring some gorgeous Momenta textured cardstock that has a dreamy water colour look. The cardstock comes in an 8×8 paper pad with three sheets of each design. The colours will go with almost everything. I put two of the 8×8 cardstock sheets in opposite corners on a sheet of 12×12 cardstock and then filled in the corners with some shimmery Art-C paint and a self adhesive stencil. Because hey, who doesn’t like to play with shimmery paint? This stuff is gorgeous. And the colour stops my heart. I filled in what was left of the gap between the stenciled paint and the cardstock with a piece of May Arts gingham ribbon, and then mounted my photograph. (P.S.
