Meet Milagros Rivera – this weeks guest blogger! Hi Creative Scrapbooker fans, Milagros with you today from sunny Puerto Rico! The month of October marks the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’ve been involved in doing something to raise awareness for the past 10 years, I’m really excited to be here with you and broaden the scope! I’m so lucky my mom has survived her fight and we have her with us! I also need to check myself again this month because on my last mammogram the radiologist detected something she wants to closely monitor because of my family history. If you’re over 40 or if you have family history don’t let the time pass. Make an appointment to get checked today! Give a friend of family member the support they need. Put some positive energy out there. Run or walk a marathon and pass the word. We are in this…
Hello Everyone! Karen Ellis here, back from a fabulous weekend at ScrapFest in Kitchener, Ontario. Cathie Allan and I taught some “Technique Tasters” in the Creative Scrapbooker booth and I wanted to show you what I taught here. Cause it was Groovin! Well, the time we spent at CHA 2016 was inspiring, and seeing all the new releases sparked our creativity and imaginations! And it’s not all fun and games….we do lots of work on our phones too. There were a few more booths that we enjoyed visiting. The Prima booth was beautiful as always: Spellbinders always has beautiful displays and staging. And you know how much we love walking into the rainbow of colour in the May Arts Ribbon booth! It was great to see Canada represent, too! Emerald Creek Craft Supplies had a booth and we stopped in to say hi to owner Kim Evans and Designer Nicole Wright. Emerald Creek manufactures metal charms and cling mounted rubber stamps. Nicole has a new stamp release that is wonderful! Yes, CHA 2016 was awesome! Our team loves spending time together, and California is always a nice destination with palm trees and…
