Hello everyone – Kim Gowdy here on the blog today! I have a confession.
I feel scrapbookers /card makers guilt because I was just NOT on the ball this year when it came to making Christmas cards. Not just making them, I couldn’t seem to get them mailed out either. Some years are just like that. For whatever reason; our time gets pulled away from us and used for other things. So I choose NOT to stress [too much] over this and thought I can still share homemade cards. This year I will send out homemade Thank You cards, for Christmas gifts received, and make a few Happy New Year cards to those who REALLY should have gotten at least a store bought Christmas card!
So I created this little card to send out after the holidays! Pretty simple card using 3 different stamps from Impression Obsession…how I love their stamps! The coffee mugs are one of my favourites! With a little help from my Spellbinder Dies and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, this card came together pretty quick! I drew the heart and coloured the mugs with Canuck Crafts Spectrum Noir markers and added some Clearsnap Ink to my frame edge for a bit of contrast. I can see using the design often as I love the layers created with foam tape and squares!
So if you are like me, lose the guilt and mail a little “hello” in the New Year!
Happy New Year

I make cards through out the summer into fall. This year I tried about five or so of each kind when I felt Lethe mood to make them. By Christmas time I had more than I needed and a wide variety.
I also noticed that by doing it this way I was in a different creative mood each time and they were not all alike. I have the same plan again this year. Especially with going Way for a month in November.
One more question, any idea where my room will be fitting in with the Friday creative rooms? Just curious. I know you said sometime in the New year,
Happy New year.
love this Kim, just beautiful!!!
