Kim Gowdy here with a simple page anyone can create. I don’t know about you but sometimes I head to my craft room in hopes of being creative, turn on the T.V. for “company” and get pulled into whatever show happens to be on…making for some very unproductive creative time. If this sounds familiar…this page is for YOU!

Adornit has come out with these fun Art Play Printables. 12 x 22 pages with fun images for you to colour, I am certain you find a few you can’t live without! The pages are made from sturdy, quality watercolour paper, so they will stand up easily to paint and markers.

So here’s the  trick…turn on the T.V. and colour! Relax, enjoy the program and be productive…your brain can design a layout [which takes more focus] later!

For this layout I pulled out my Chameleon pens and just had fun. They make it so easy to create a graduated colour, but really don’t over think it. In the past alcohol marker techniques scared me; not any more!

Later on I pulled my page together using Core’dinations ColorCore cardstock to mat my pictures and page. The little journal block has a home inside a small glassine envelope purchased at a local scrapbooking store. I quickly decorated it using some of the many [!!!] unknown flowers in my stash.

The entire layout is stuck together using products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

That’s too funny! When I go to my craft room, I turn on my TV then start to create, but have no idea what is playing on the television. If it’s something I wanted to watch I have to replay it several times before I actually see it! These Adornits are very cute. I believe I could color and watch TV at the same time. LOL

  2. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something too few people are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy I found this during my search for something regarding this.|
