Hello, Connie Nichol here with some cards I created with Impression Obsession stamps and dies, Chameleon Pens and Core’dinations cardstock. I only meant to make one card, but I was having so much fun stamping and colouring that I ended up with a few slightly different versions. My philosophy is that while you’ve got all the supplies scattered about, keep creating!! It’s an awesome feeling to have a bunch of cards prepared and ready to go when you need them. [Note to self: when the furnace dies…air conditioning goes in at the same time as the new furnace!] Tomorrow we celebrate Canada Day from East to West and in between! Our big, beautiful country is so worthy of its 148th celebration! I felt it appropriate to create a scrapbook page in honour of Canada! As I mentioned…it is hot in my house! Hello! Kim here to show you how to make some gorgeous watercolour style backgrounds for your stamped images. I will be using a Gel Printing Plate, Tombow markers, water and Canadian Scrapbooker Super Stock. The Canadian Scrapbooker Super Stock works best because it is so strong and can hold up to the amount of wet media used on this project. Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share a quick and easy technique you can use with your stamped images. It all started with some Tombow Dual Brush pens and a really pretty Impression Obsession stamp. I used a Clearsnap black pigment ink and stamped onto Canadian Scrapbooker superstock, which is a nice heavy weight to stand up to this wet technique.Then I slowed right down and coloured in the lines. After making a Mother’s Day card with this pretty coloured image, I decided to try something different. I thought, hey, let’s try a watercolour effect because these wonderful Tombow pens are water based and blendable. So I basically scribbled colours all over this stamped image, not worrying about staying in the lines and then spritzed it all over with water. And it’s that easy! Just let dry or use your heat gun to speed up the process. I made…
I don’t know what it is, but Graphic 45 papers make me pull out my sharpest scissors and start fussy cutting! The images on some of these papers from Botanical Tea collection made fantastic embellishments for my layout. One of my favourite things I LOVE about Graphic 45 collections is that they layer so easily. I think as scrapbookers, especially if new to the craft; layering can be the hardest thing. Graphic 45 has nailed it! Fantastic combinations of large and small prints in color harmony make it simple for everyone to work with.
