If you are looking for a product that you can use in “assorted ways” – a product you can stamp with, emboss with, do resist techniques, use to add color to an image with instead of markers, use with stencils and more – a product that you can happily create with, that is the most lightfast of all the stamping mediums out there and allows you to work from light color to dark color and back to light again. By now I am guessing you know I am referring to pigment ink.
It tends to be my “go to medium” because it is simply so versatile AND then instead of buying more & more & more product I can happily buy more stamps and more stencils (yes, I may have a few of these) to entertain my “creative urges”.
Lately I have been using my pigment ink to create watercolor looks. This new technique of mine gives me images that are softer and more subdued and I did not have to buy a different medium to achieve it. Take a look at the background in the card
For this project (card and art journal page) I used my favourite – CLEARSNAP pigment inks – and IMPRESSION OBSESSION stamps.
Here is a look at an art journal page I created.
Happy stamping!
