Hi everyone! Kim here with a quick share of a mini album I just completed. I used a Close To My Heart “Workshop on the Go”. These kits they put together are genius! Patterned paper, cardstock, stamp set, embellishments and an idea sheet…ready for you to play! I choose to work with “La Vie en Rose” set…I love it!
I like to include maps on projects when I can, I am confident I will thank myself in years to come. The pages of the album are cut from the CTMY “Artbooking” Cricut cartridge. I didn’t stick to a predesigned album, I chose page styles I liked and sized for a 5×7 album. I doubled each cut so I could adhere my pages together to make a really sturdy album. The pocket pages are great fun…I intend to add a little journal card to each of them.I loved mixing up the page styles, I think it adds lots of interest. CTMH has these great photo pockets called Flip Flops…allowing lots of space for extra memories.I used several stamps from different CTMH sets that I have. I stamped the images using the mini craft inks and embossed with clear embossing powder. It makes the colours pop!A sneak peek at the products I used…these stamps are some of my “go tos” for travel pages!
Thanks for checking out my album. This project is not hard technically, but requires time. In the end, it’s a nice reminder of a fun girls trip to Washington State. I have LOTS more pictures to scrapbook from this trip, but this mini album is like the “Coles Notes” version of our trip.
