Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share a special Mother’s Day gift and card you can make using some beautiful BoBunny products.
I used the gorgeous “Secret Garden” collection from BoBunny, which has beautiful purple tones with lots of floral images, like roses, lilacs and lavender. This collection is PERFECT for Mother’s Day!
When I saw the beautiful piece of paper with the wreath, I knew I was going to hand letter a quote for my mother to express how much she means to me. I first sketched the quote on a scrap piece of paper so I knew where the words would fit into the wreath circle. Then I penciled in the words and followed with drawing them with the new Ranger Dylusions White Linen paint pen. I did the same faux calligraphy on the card with “Happy Mother’s Day.”
After I created the faux calligraphy words, I added thin pencil lines along some edges of the letters to create drop shadows.
I fussy cut a bird and flowers from another piece of Secret Garden patterned paper and layered them to the top right.
I love how this piece turned out, and I think my mom will too!

Such a lovely idea for that Special Mom in your life. I have a wonderful daughter who is a Special Mom to my two sweet Grandkids. Only wish that my Mom was still alive to enjoy them too.
