Getting Crafty with Susan Weckeser
I love this time of year in our when we start baking cookies and making goodies to give other families.
It is always exciting to put on some music and sit down in the studio and create some cards to give to
family and family. I like to make something fun and simple that the whole family, yes even my Hubbie,
can help make!
materials:
-Heart-FULL Homes Stamp Set: Susan K. Weckesser Inc., Unity Stamp Co.
-Mini Pop Color Ink: Susan K. Weckesser Inc., ColorBox; Clearsnap Inc.
-watercolour paper: Ranger Ink
-scrapbook paper: Amy Tangerine
-liquid glass: DecoArt media
other:glue dots, watercolor brush, rhinestones, glitter, blank card
How To:
Take the house stamp & stamp it onto a piece of watercolour .
Take the Mini Pop Color Inks on stamp the that you want onto a washable surface.
Using a fillable watercolor brush pick up the color you want and start to color in your image. The inks will blend
for you so have fun playing!
Cut out you image and add some bling! You can never have too much bling! If you want put a little bit of linguistic glass
on the windows and while it is still wet sprinkle a little glitter on the bottom edges of the windows. Let dry.
Take the blank card and the word stamp from the kit and using one colour at a time repeat stamp to create a background
print. Dab a little ink on a rag and distress the edges of the card. Sprinkle a bit of water drops on to give it a water worn
look.
Time to glue it all together! First glue a couple pieces of scrapbook paper on and then using scrapbook dots
to create a 3D look attach your house.
Enjoy your card and have an AWESOME DAY!
