Hi there, Connie Nichol here today with a Christmas layout featuring the Believe Way with Words die from Elizabeth Crafts Designs, the Merry & Bright Christmas collection from Bo Bunny and a Quietfire Design stamp with a beautiful quote. My kids are getting older, but even as gawky teenagers, they still adore Christmas and all the special traditions that come with it. Make sure that you take a few pictures to capture the memories this Christmas, even if it is not ideal. This past Christmas we were still in the middle of renovations and the flooring had all been ripped up. Plywood is not a very conducive environment for Christmas decorating but it is still a special time of year and I’m glad to have these photos to remember it by.
I actually started with the December sketch from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s sketchy gallery. It’s a card sketch, but there’s no reason you can’t use it to scrapbook! I used it as a starting point to guide my placement of patterned paper and embellishments. If you squint a bit you can see the resemblance.
Here’s the Bo Bunny collection pack and Noteworthy diecuts I used. I adore the colours and patterns. Very traditional and so easy to scrapbook with.
This is the die I used for the title. And the Quietfire Design stamp. Don’t you love that calligraphic style of Suzanne Cannon?
I also used lots of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam adhesive to pop up the presents I cut out of a piece of the Bo Bunny patterned paper. Fussy cutting patterned paper and then adding dimension is a great and frugal way to decorate your scrapbook page. Happy scrapbooking!
Supplies Used: Bo Bunny patterned paper and die cuts, Elizabeth Craft Designs word die, Quietfire Design stamp, Clearsnap ink, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
