Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you my Life was meant for Great Adventures Wall Hanging. To create my wall hanging, I’ve used the Adventure Collection from Wild Whisper Designs, Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, you’ll need the Fitted Indented Square and Stitched Indented Square dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Die cut the 4 ¾” Stitched Indented Square out of kraft cardstock. Die cut the 4” Fitted Indented Square out of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of both squares. Ink the edges of both squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need to choose three patterned papers out of the Adventure Collection…

Els Van de Burgt is back on our show creating super cute BonBon boxes with a variety of different products and some super fun and easy to follow techniques. BonBon boxes are the cutest little packages meant to hold party favors or other little treasures! You can fill them with chocolates, candy, sequins, necklaces – you name it! Els walks you through a number of different design ideas to create a variety of different themed boxes. SUPPLIES The base of the Bon Bon box is an Elizabeth Craft Designs die. Run this die through your die cutting machine and you have your box. Elizabeth Craft Designs dies work with most die cutting machines and really do cut like butter. For these BonBon boxes Els used Elizabeth Craft Designs soft finished cardstock for the base. This cardstock is heavy enough to handle plenty of different mediums while at the same time…

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans!  With Easter right around the corner, I thought I would share with you today an Easter card for that special someone in your life. Using the Butterfly Kisses Collection from Bo Bunny, a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, stamps, stones and embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Easter card. You’ll want to make sure to grab a cup of your favourite beverage, as I will show you how to recreate this project in the comforts of your own home. Using the Gatefold – Elegant Rose die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, die cut the gatefold out of Tutu Double Dot from Bo Bunny. With the gatefold cut out, trim two pieces out that measure 2” x 1 ¾”. Apply Emboss It Ink from Ranger Ink to both pieces. Once the ink is…

Hi there, Connie Nichol here today with a Christmas layout featuring the Believe Way with Words die from Elizabeth Crafts Designs, the Merry & Bright Christmas collection from Bo Bunny and a Quietfire Design stamp with a beautiful quote.  My kids are getting older, but even as gawky teenagers, they still adore Christmas and all the special traditions that come with it.  Make sure that you  take a few pictures to capture the memories this Christmas, even if it is not ideal.  This past Christmas we were still in the middle of renovations and the flooring had all been ripped up.  Plywood is not a very conducive environment for Christmas decorating but it is still a special time of year and I’m glad to have these photos to remember it by. I actually started with the December sketch from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s sketchy gallery.  It’s a card sketch, but there’s no…

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with an 8 1/2 x 11 layout that I created when I was looking through older pictures and remembering Christy Riopel.   I just love this stamped quote from Quietfire Design.  It is so true and it made me smile and weep at the same time.  Some people that come into your lives make such an impression that you are grateful that you have known them. The Remember word die and the stitched oval dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs, while the papers and stickers are from American Crafts.  I liked the brightness and the happiness of the patterns and the colours from this Rise and Shine paper line – perfect for creating a scrapbook layout about happy memories.  Remember to always cherish your friends and family and hold them close because they might not always be there.     Supplies Used:  American Crafts patterned paper…
