Hi everyone,Kim here ?
Thanks for checking into the CSM blog today. I just wanted to share this month’s sketch, designed by Kelly Klapstein. This month’s sketch was designed with card making in mind, ‘tis the season of making, giving and receiving cards! It’s a great sketch!
I however used it as a starting point for a layout. That’s is the cool thing about sketches…they are simply a starting point for creativity.
I used Close to My Heart’s “City Sidewalk” collection. I ADORE everything about this collection, it’s full of fun, whimsical papers, die cuts and glittery accents and also has a corresponding Cricut cartridge to keep the fun going strong!
I decided to make a gift card holder while I had all this fun product out, I’ll need a few more before December 25th! As you can see, I did not follow the sketch for the card…but plan to on another project that is brewing in my brain!
