Hey crafty peeps… Nicole here and I get to share this fun tutorial on  Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Hey crafty peeps… Nicole here and I get to share this fun tutorial on  Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.  I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Ranger with all these vibrant Mini Archival Inks and stretch beyond Jet Black. This tutorial is an experiment for me and I love the results the Mini Archival Inks create.  These crisp colors provide a detailed stamped image allowing versatility even when watercoloring. The Mini Archival Inks are just the right size for adding ink in select areas of the rubber stamps.  Allowing me to ink and build each stamped image.  Each ink is easily cleaned off the Archival Cleaner. Dry your stamp with some paper towel then add more color to the leaves and petals cleaning between. The new Tonic Stamp Platform was the perfect tool to…

Hello everyone – Tracy McLennon here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog sharing this beautiful butterfly card I designed using some of my favourite products from Stampin’ Up!, Ranger, Chameleon Color Tone pens and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I used watercolour paper and Tim Holtz for Ranger Distress Oxide Inks to create this rust like background. To do this you need a non stick craft mat. Stamp the ink directly onto the craft mat, spray with water and mix with your fingers. Then dip the paper into the ink/water mixture. Dry with a heat gun. Then do the same with the next colour of ink. Dry again with a heat gun. Do the same with the third colour of ink. You can continue this process until you get the coverage you desire.I stamped this beautiful Stampin’ Up! butterfly image on white cardstock using Early Espresso Stampin’ Up! dye ink.…

Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here with one sketch – three different projects. This is a good sketch for a big or dominant photo that really tells your story. The curvy diagonal lines create movement and energy. Supplies:  Creative Memories Cap and Gown Collection, Clearsnap ColorBox ink and embossing powder,  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Stampin’ Up! gold thread, Studio Calico brad. An old Colleague of mine posted her graduation photos on Facebook one day and I instantly had an urge to scrap them. The Cap and Gown collection from Creative Memories has several “2107” embellishments but it’s really a versatile collection. The colors work really well with vintage photos.  I glammed it up a bit with gold embossing powder and shiny brads and thread. The papers held up well to mix media techniques. And the coordinating album is a really classy.  Supplies: Donna Salazar for  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L  Denim Art Journal and…

Hello, Nicole here and I am so excited to share my new journal pages using Stabilo.  I was sent a set of  Woody 3 in 1 pencils to create with.  These are new to me so I was very curious how they would handle my love of watercoloring.  They far surpassed my expectations!  They are smooth to put on these old pages, creamy enough to blend and don’t washout when watercoloring.  Check out my quick and easy tutorial for stamping and watercoloring with Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 pencils.I prepared my old book pages with Ranger’s Clear Gesso.  Once dry I stamped the Garden Flower stamps randomly then started adding colour with the Stabilo Woody pencils.  You can easily move the colour around by smearing with your fingers. This is my first time so I wanted to try the pencils in different ways.  I tried blending and they blend beautifully.  Watercoloring…
