Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a very simple layout that uses minimal supplies – basically just cardstock! If you have an electronic die cutting machine like the Sizzix Eclips2, you really don’t need much else.
This layout is totally about the Sunflower cut file from Quietfire Design. I fell in love with it when I saw it, and what better page embellishment for sunflower photos? I was so excited last year when a friend told me about a nearby sunflower field. You can of course customize the colours and size of the flowers as you see fit so it is a very versatile file.
I cut the flowers and the title out with a Sizzix Eclips 2. I opened the svg file, ungrouped the shapes and cut them out of different colours of cardstock. They were so pretty I didn’t want to add a lot of other ‘stuff’ to the page, so I stitched around the edges with my Brother sewing machine and called it a day.
Supplies: Close to My Heart and Core’dinations cardstock, Sizzix Eclips2, Brother sewing machine, Close To My Heart adhesive, Quietfire Designs cut files

Love how they pop off the page Connie. Thanks for sharing.
Connie, this is beautiful!
Connie, your page really pulls at my heartstrings! My Dad grew sunflowers for decades. Now that he is in heaven, I swear he lets me know he is near, by the butterfly fluttering around me as I garden. Thank you for such an inspirational page and one that invokes deep motion!!!
