Hello everyone! Kim here with a spotlight on Echo Park Paper Co.! I love being able to share my love of great companies with you here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s blog! Let’s do this!
What you may not know is that Echo Park was founded in 2010. I was a bit surprised to learn that they are still a relatively new company, I feel that they have been around forever! That is a sign that they are doing it right! It’s a sign that they are providing quality products year after year and staying on top of the industry trends!
Echo Park’s goal is simple – create easy to use crafting products while incorporating fun designs and bright colours! NAILED IT!!!
Although this fun company started out creating papers, they have quickly expanded to albums, dies, stamps and stencils. There current catalogue features over 2000 products!
I recently found some time to create with the SUMMER FUN collection! It certainly feels like their goals of fun; bright designs were met! I started with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine’s August Sketchy Challenge, my layout very loosely resembles the sketch.
Embellishment cluster made from stickers that are included in the SUMMER FUN collection. There were just a few extra supplies I added, but honestly these collections have EVERYTHING you need! I did add some vellum circles over the biggest circles to soften and visually send those elements to the background. I used a few star sequins on my “to-do” list and of course some adhesive to stick it all down!My card was quick and easy. I simply layered papers and stickers! I added a bit of ribbon and though it doesn’t show well on the photo, I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush on the lens on the sunglasses. It’s shimmery in real life!
