Creative Scrapbooker Magazine is super excited to once again have the lovely Nicole Wright teaching at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Calgary.

The first class Nicole will be teaching in Calgary
is a Mixed Media Double Page Layout

This class is for scrapbookers looking for a double page layout to add a unique look to your albums. Nicole used Mixed Media elements to create this double page layout by layering paper, tags, stamping, gesso, distress crayons and stenciling. Bring your photos: 4×6 (2) and wallet sized printed on card stock so you can ink that too. Get a head start on your scrappy pages with mixed media influences.econd class is an Eclectic Collage Canvas.

You will be covered in gesso and scribbling with crayons. For some added fun, you will collage some paper and a bunch of findings. Nicole will have emptied her stash and will bring it for you to sift through to create your own fun canvas. Just think about the possibilities of what you learn that will add uniqueness to your future projects.

We are a few days away from the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Edmonton!!!! YAHOOOO!!!!

At each and every carnival we raise money for the Christy Riopel Art Scholarship. We invite each attendee to donate $2 to have their scrapbook project displayed on site. You can put as many projects on the display as you like. At the end of the carnival we choose a winning layout along with TONS of runner ups!  But really they are all winners. All the money collected goes to Christy’s Art Scholarship. Warms my heart.

I said it once and I will keep saying it again and again – even though our crop areas are completely sold out – THE CARNIVAL is open to the public!  Everyone is welcome to come. The aisles are filled with paper crafing, scrapbooking, stamping, mixed media AND more vendors who all share our love of crafting. It is the ultimate shopping experience!  While you are at here, do a make and take!
