Hello Everyone – Jayme Loge here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the ‘Be Happy” paper crafting collection from Paper House Productions.
This Makes Me Happy
There is nothing that makes this scrapbooker’s heart surge with joy and anticipation than a nice fresh stack of scrapbooking paper! The ‘Be Happy’ paper line from Paper House Productions is filled with beautiful soft colors, bold prints and touches of gold that make for a versatile foundation for all kinds of scrappable memories. I love it when one color pallet has built in flexibility!
Yoga Retreat
A few years ago, when I had only a few yoga sessions under my belt, my novice self was invited to a yoga retreat in Canmore. I was in way over my head as everyone else had years of experience, but despite feeling overwhelmed all weekend, I had the most marvelous experience. I scrapbooked a few photos from the retreat on a bold background, and when I added the Paper House Productions ‘Yoga 3D’ stickers, their vibrant colors added life and color that reflected how I felt throughout the retreat. I love adding dimension to my layouts; to add even more I popped a few stickers from the paper pad up with my trusty Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L mounting squares!
Live Simply/Enjoy Life
I made a graphic and textured background using small pieces of various patterned papers from the paper pad. I especially love using bits of journaling squares or word blocks for this. This added a subtle but interesting background to the serene photo of my daughter walking in a river. I added a few wood elements (from Heidi Swapp and Prima Marketing) for dimension with a natural feel.
You Color My World
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t create a little mess when scrapbooking, and this paper even stood up to my messy style. I used the new bright pastel paints by Dylusions from Ranger on an adhesive canvas sheet to create my own background. The result was vibrant, yet feminine! Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone.
