This weekend I pulled out a paper stack from Paper House Productions – Field Study – and scrapbooked a few photos from harvest 2016. I thoroughly enjoy paper stacks. They are easy to store, tons of coordinating papers and with Paper House Productions, they also include a sticker sheet that is also sealed in the binding. I love that! Here is a very simple layout that I created. A little fun element on my layout is the birch stencil in the background. I laid the stencil down and applied transparent texture paste. When the texture pasted dried I wasn’t happy with the slight watermark color. So I painted it black. Definitely, an easier way to get this texture is to simply add the black paint to the texture paste! Save a tedious painting step! Hello again! Kim here with a quick layout share using some of the gorgeous papers from Paper House Productions’ Sun Drenched paper pad! This collection is full of beautiful colours and patterns…perfect for beach days of summer or winter holidays!I used this month’s Sketchy Challenge as a starting point for my layout, our sketches are always a great source of inspiration! Once I chose the papers to work with I alter my page a bit with some stencilling using Ranger’s Distress Oxide ink and a stencil from MultiCraft. I used a couple of the 4×6 accent cards from the paper pad to layer with my photos, I love how they kind of become an extension of my photos in colour and pattern! I used a bit of Distress Oxide Ink on the paper edges to bring the focus in towards the pics! I added some Forever in Time Puffy Letter…
Check out this gorgeous layout Kerry Engel designed. From the wintery photos to the acetate snowflakes to the texture paste background – I seriously feel the crisp fresh air of a beautiful winter day just looking at this creation! One of the things I particularly love on Kerry’s layout is the photo of the footsteps walking away in the snow. What a great angle! Here are the supplies Kerry used to put together her layout. Hello everyone, Jayme Loge here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog playing with the Delish collection by Paper House Productions. I work in a school, and so I have fantastic summer holidays. I always make huge lists, and formulate big plans and then, as it happens when there is an abundance of time, the days disappear with the daylight hours. I have long since learned that scrapbooking is one of the casualties of diminishing time and large lists. I mull ideas for pages when I’m weeding in my garden. I plan out photos and supplies I want to use while driving out to the lake. I spend an hour or two in air-conditioned scrapbook stores, adding to my stash. But when it comes down to sitting at my scrapbook table and actually scrapbooking, I can’t get there. I guess I am loathe to sacrifice any hours of sunshine to my…
Hello everyone, Kerry Engel here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. I am playing with a gorgeous collection of patterned paper from Paper House Productions called Lake Life. I’m a sucker for anything with an Adirondack chair on it. Paper House Productions “Lake Life” collection has some stunning large image papers and every time I pull out this paper it pulls me back to the lake. The collection is bursting with lake inspired double-sided papers and corresponding stickers. I’m always drawn to Paper House Productions large image paper, they have such warm and inviting images on their papers. I think this is my third blog post showing how to incorporate this style of paper into your scrapbooking. The look I created with this layout reminds me of the paper tole that was so popular in the 80s. I want to be clear that I did not get to that much work.…
