Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Winter has definitely hit the west coast of Canada this week and we even ended up with a white Christmas. With the cold weather here, I decided to create a winter note card . For my note card, I’ve used a variety of products from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, to create this fabulous Warmest Wishes winter note card.

To start, cut a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine that measures 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Using a blending tool with foam as well as Broken China Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the inks over the entire surface of the cardstock. With the ink dry, dab a bit of Brushed Pewter Distress Stain from Ranger Ink onto your craft mat. Pick the stain up with a clean blending tool and foam and lightly brush over top of the cardstock piece.

Step One

Apply Emboss It Ink to the long strip of icicles stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the icicles along the top of the cardstock piece. Sprinkle Fractured Ice Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over top of the icicles. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Let the icicles cool. Apply Emboss It Ink to the small snowflake stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and stamp it randomly underneath the icicles. You’ll need to reapply the Emboss It Ink to the snowflake stamp each time before stamping it again. Sprinkle Soft Fallen Snow Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over top of all the snowflakes. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Let the snowflakes cool.
