Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Winter has definitely hit the west coast of Canada this week and we even ended up with a white Christmas. With the cold weather here, I decided to create a winter note card . For my note card, I’ve used a variety of products from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, some adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L as well as a few products from Ranger Ink, to create this fabulous Warmest Wishes winter note card.

To start, cut a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine that measures 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Using a blending tool with foam as well as Broken China Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the inks over the entire surface of the cardstock. With the ink dry, dab a bit of Brushed Pewter Distress Stain from Ranger Ink onto your craft mat. Pick the stain up with a clean blending tool and foam and lightly brush over top of the cardstock piece.

Apply Emboss It Ink to the long strip of icicles stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the icicles along the top of the cardstock piece. Sprinkle Fractured Ice Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over top of the icicles. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Let the icicles cool. Apply Emboss It Ink to the small snowflake stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and stamp it randomly underneath the icicles. You’ll need to reapply the Emboss It Ink to the snowflake stamp each time before stamping it again. Sprinkle Soft Fallen Snow Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over top of all the snowflakes. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Let the snowflakes cool.

Using a blending tool with foam and Black Soot Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink all of the edges of the cardstock piece.

Die cut the 2 1/2” Dotted Scallop Circle Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of black cardstock.

Die cut the 2 1/4” Stitched Circle Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of Super Stock cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Using a blending tool with foam as well as Broken China Distress Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the inks over the entire surface of the circle. With the ink dry, dab a bit of Brushed Pewter Distress Stain from Ranger Ink onto your craft mat. Pick the stain up with a clean blending tool and foam and lightly brush over top of the cardstock piece. Apply Emboss It Ink to the small snowflake stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and stamp it randomly on the circle.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the Warmest Wishes stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the Warmest Wishes sentiment onto a piece of Super Stock cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Fussy cut the Warmest Wishes sentiment out.

Apply Emboss It Ink from Ranger Ink, to one of the long icicles from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the long icicle onto a piece of Super Stock cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Sprinkle Fractured Ice Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over top of the icicle. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Let the icicle cool. Fussy cut the icicle out. Trim the icicle down to 3”. Using a blending tool and foam as well as Black Soot Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the icicle.

Using EZ Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, adhere the snowflake circle to the dotted scallop black cardstock circle.

Adhere the icicle strip using EZ Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to the middle of the square cardstock piece. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the dotted scallop black cardstock circle to the middle of the square cardstock piece.

Adhere the Warmest Wishes sentiment to the middle of the cardstock circle. On the bottom right hand side of the circle, adhere two snowflake charms and seven stones from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and five flowers as desired. On the top left hand side of the circle, adhere one snowflake charm and five stones from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies

Adhere the cardfront to a piece of black cardstock that measures 3 7/8” x 3 7/8”. Adhere the black cardstock piece to a cardbase from Super Stock cardstock that measures 4” x 8”, score at 4”.
