Welcome toย my last post for 2017.ย It is Karan Gerber here to host the blog for one last time for 2017.ย ย  It just so happens that my last post for the year ends up on New Yearโ€™s Eve and today I am sharing with you a card using some fabulous stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.Blazing Poppy Collection by Heartfelt Creations I incorporated paper from the Blazing Poppy paper collection ย  to create this card and used inks from Ranger and Clearsnap ColorBox. Here is a peek at my card I put together for you today: I wanted my sunflowers to look festive so I colored my flowers using Rose coral chalk ink from ColorBox and used Aged Mahogany on the tipsBest Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingย The card base size is a 8.5 x 11 piece of card folded in half I cut two papers from the collection for the base and I distress them, I searched for a A2 panel that I felt would coordinate and i matted that with white Super Stockย  from Creative Scrapbooker.Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingHere I used the Botanic Window die in a coordinating paper, and used Rajni Chawlaโ€™s Crystal Clear on the edges to add some extra glitter. I used Glue Gloss to apply my glitter.ย  It is pretty portable and a quick drying.Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingย Now lets get started on the flowers and leaves, stamp the classic sunflower out on the Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock using coffee archival ink; color centers with Ranger Ink Expresso; and then use Rose Coral chalk ink on petals and final step is to highlight them with Aged Mahogany Distress InkBest Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingย Inย total I used 13 flowers for this best wishes card, but did not use any of the smaller ones that the die cuts out. Once i was done coloring them, I pierced the center to make room for the stamens, then I used the 3D Flower Basics Mold; the sizes in the mold are not perfect for this flower, but it still lends to some fabulous texture, i had to run this through a few times to get all my flowers completed.Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingPut a few together off-setting the petals and add your stamensBest Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingLink for stamens – CLICK HEREย  ย I then used my glue gloss and added some crystal clear glitter to the stamens and petals.Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingIt sure gives a nice detail and finished look to the flower. Color your leaves using peeled paint distress ink from Ranger and a finger dauber. Once done coloring, lightly mist the leaves from the back, and then mold using your molding mat and stylusBest Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbooking Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingLook for a Best wishes sentiment in the paper collection, and assemble your card.Best Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingย I think these are some of my favorite flowers this year and they work perfect on the Best Wishes card.ย  I love how the crystal clear looks like the stamens have a snowy look to them.
Here is my finished cardBest Wishes Card Designed by Karan Gerber | Featuring Heartfelt Creations | Creative Scrapbooker Magazine #cardmaking #stamping #scrapbookingFrom all of us here at Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, Best Wishes, to you and your families

  3. That is one beautiful card. Wow! I donโ€™t own any Heartfelt stamps or dies but I sure wish I did. Love that flower embossing! Nice texture.

  4. Your card is amazing! Every detail and part of it is so perfectly done. I love the shaped flowers and the lovely poppy scene behind them. The ice crystals make them look so magical.

OMG! What a beautiful card. I can’t wait until I can afford all the bits so I can make cards like this. This is a huge STATEMENT card. Whoever gets a card like this had better frame it. Absolutely lovely. What a way to end out the year. May 2018 be richer, kinder and healthier for all of us.

I can not believe these are paper flowers. They are absolutely gorgeous. Need to learn what that flower mold thing is. “Ran it through” what?
