Hello friends , Karan Gerber here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today I am sharing a beautiful card I created using 49 and Market Papers, Rub-ons, Washi Tape and Ephemera along with dies from Sizzix and Elizabeth Craft Designs. Here is how easy it is to put a card together. My base size is 5.5 x 7, making my first paper mat 5.5 x 7, and my second 5×6.5. On my top layer I added a few strips of Washi Tape. I inked the edges with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink. Popped this on my card base with foam adhesive to add a little dimension. Using the Stitched Rectangles from Elizabeth Crafts, and Sizzix Butterflies, I die cut these out. I added a bit of shaping to these by add a bit of water to the back and shaping the wings to give them some lift. The top layer…

This is a mini-album/Christmas box using the 6×6 paper collection called Cotton Winter from Scrapboys. This is a brand new company just recently launched out of Poland and I am proud to be on their Design Team So Scrapboys has a gorgeous winter collection that I thought would be perfect to use for this little box I found in my stash, I think its an older Melissa Frances design. HI Friends, welcome to the Creative Scrapbooker Blog today! Its Karan Gerber here to host the blog for you today and I have a simple winter, scrapbook layout to share with you using papers from the Kaisercraft Wonderland Paper Collection. I know sometimes we want to fit as many photos as we can on a layout, but often times we are able to capture a special moment and that photo deserves a full page. This photo is of my friend’s grandson Boston, I am so grateful she let me scrapbook him. To start off, I used the Wonderland snowfall for my background, cutting out a one-inch frame all the way around and I matted an 11 .75 x 11.75 dark blue cardstock on top. Realizing this color would be too dark for my layout I decided to add another cardstock mat on top of that measuring 11×11. My cut out from the background…

The second step was I used some Stamps from 49 and Market, first set being Pascale’s Grammar Stamp and the second was Pascale’s Formula. For the second step: stamp the background very randomly using the Grammar set of stamps using Ranger Black Archival InkI then used weather wood distress ink from Ranger and used the Formula…
