Hello and good day! Kim here on the blog with another fun card using a fun stamp set from Art Impressions! You can never have enough birthday cards on hand, so that’s what I have to share today!

Art Impressions has so many wonderful stamps; and although they have a gorgeous series of watercolor stamps, and animal characters, I am personally drawn to the cheeky humour of people stamps! They always seem to have the perfect quote to go along with the perfect image…and they ALWAYS make me laugh!

Without further delay, let’s peek at the birthday card I made to share!Happy Birthday Card using Art Impressions stamp set, ClearSnap inks, Elizabeth Craft Designs dies and Chameleon pens / Circles and cardmaking
It was such a fun card to make and actually quite quick to make. Here is a look at the process!

Creative technique using Eliabeth Craft Designs dies / ColorBox inks for perfect colour matching /
Using CSM Superstock, I cut out 2 circles with my Elizabeth Craft Designs circle dies. They leave a wonderful stitched detail on the circles. Use a set of ClearSnap Color Box pigment inks to ensure all your colours co-ordinate perfectly! I strongly suggest buying the ink refills if you LOVE the palette: for years of happy!
Colourful inlay technique for making a Birthday Card using Art Impressions stamp set
Carefully line up your pieces and tape them down on the back. Turn your square over and cut out another circle.
Art Impressions card techniques using inkstand Chameleon pens
Position another piece of CSM Superstock on a stamp positioner of your choice and keep it in place until the next steps are ALL done. First stamp your Art Impressions  image using ClearSnaps‘ ColorBox Archival Dye ink, colour image with Chameleon pens – don’t worry if the dye ink outline blurs a bit as we will restamp over top of coloured image to get a crisp outline. Remove from stamp positioner and cut out using the same die that you used in the last step.
Sticking it down with Scrapbook Adhesives by #l / Cardmaking technique
Insert your stamped and coloured image into your empty circle, use clear tape on the back to keep all pieces together and then use a tape runner, like my E-Z Runner Grand by Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L to adhere this fun work of art onto a card base!

My Color Box pigment inks from ClearSnap, my Chameleon pens and my circle dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs all worked seamlessly together with the Art Impressions stamp set to make these fun birthday cards. The technique is so simple…I can’t wait to make more!Step by step technique for making an inlay card using Art Impressions stamp set / Elizabeth Craft Designs circle dies / Chameleon pens / Get the perfect co-ordinating colors with ClearSnap

Thanks for joining me here on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog today. I sure hope you try this technique and share your project with us!
