Hello, 2019 and a new year filled with opportunities and new beginnings!
January is a month where we naturally think about new goals and what we want to achieve in the coming year. For me, I’d like to slow down in 2019. But what does that mean? I’ve had to think about the ways in which I can make that happen like device-free time, enjoying the outside more often and finding time to read. I love the process of evaluating goals so be sure to make time for yourself to do the same. Stampin’ Up! has a monthly subscription called Paper Pumpkin where you are sent everything you need to create a crafty project. These are great especially when you are going on vacation or the cabin. You can grab it and go! That’s exactly what I did while vacationing in Florida this Holiday Season.
Below is a picture of an 18-month calendar project that was meant to be created out of this month’s Paper Pumpkin. This month’s kit includes the pre-printed calendar, a stamp set, two inks, several tags, a beautiful box with an acetate lid and embellishments to create the project. I’ve done a slight alteration to this project where I’ve added blank pages between each calendar month where I’ll add one picture. I may even take this book apart and slip the little pages into my scrapbooks OR I may decide to give this little project to my grandmother at the end of the year. It might be a good idea to consider using the same picture or clothing or prop for each picture so you can see the differences over time.
Remember that with Paper Pumpkin you can create exactly what was intended. But it can also be a source of creativity for you by altering the design such as I have.
