Hi everyone! Pam Bray here today sharing my “Trust Your Heart” mixed media canvas.I am so excited to share that I will be blogging once a month for the Creative Scrapbook Magazine and what better way to share in the excitement but to share with you to always follow your heart!
Step 1: Begin by inking a 5″ x 5″ flat panel canvas with Ranger Tim Holtz Wild Honey and Evergreen Brough Distress Ink. Lay Southern Ridge Trading Co. Bubble Wrap Stencil on prepared canvas; ink over top with Evergreen Brough Distress Ink using a blending tool.
Step 2: Stamp Coffee Rings from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies The Blend Stamp Set with Ranger Black Archival ink. Step 3: Ink Southern Ridge Trading Co. chipboard pieces with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
Step 4: Apply Emerald Creek Craft Supplies to top of prepared chipboard pieces; heat set with embossing gun. Step 5: Apply embossing ink to the prepared canvas. Add Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Vintage Beeswax to the top; heat set with embossing gun.
Step 6: Re-heart Vintage Beeswax; while hot sprinkle a bit of the Patina Oxide, Rocky Road and Chunky Rust to top of heat Vintage Beeswax. Cool. Adhere prepared chipboard to top of the canvas. Step 7: Stamp Emerald Creek Craft Supplies coffee cups from The Fireside and The Blend Stamp Sets.
Step 8: Color with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Markers; apply embossing ink to top of prepared images. Add Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture to the top; heat set. Step 9: Adhere prepared cups to the top of the canvas with pop dots.
Step 10: Apply Vintage Beeswax to top of sentiment; heat set with embossing gun.
Step 11: Adhere to the top of the canvas. Step 12: Add twine bow and metal brad to the center of the embossed timepiece.
Last…Adhere prepared canvas to 6″ x 6″ chipboard that has been covered with patterned paper. Add small metal knobs to each corner. Voila! A beautiful mixed media canvas.
