Stitched Stars Framelites by Stampin’ Up! Make me HAPPY!  I am so happy to be here each month – I hope you are having a fabulous summer!

September 1st marks the release of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue.
And yup. You guessed it, I am obsessed.
I cannot wait to show you everything that we have in store.
Today’s project is a scrapbook page largely created using products from the Brightly Gleaming Product Suite. Prepare to be wowed.

While the Brightly Gleaming Foiled Stars and Designer Series Paper are gorgeous, the new Stitched Stars Framelits are the star of the show. You can’t quite see here but when you cut them out, you can use the inner star as I have here OR the outside border as it’s also stitched. Check it out here:
To further create interest, I decided to use these stitched star die cuts for my journaling. There’s not a big trick to this. Print your journaling on regular Whisper White cardstock from your printer and then run it through your Big Shot machine. If you are worried about the wonky shape of the star and ensuring you remain inside the die, print your journaling on computer paper first and do some guess and checking. No need to waste your precious cardstock! Finally, I added some Basic Pearls, Metallic Silver Thread and some of the new and amazing Star Designer Elements. These embellishments brought the page together into exactly what I wanted it to be.

Yup, my friends. This Brightly Gleaming Product Suite is even more gorgeous in real life.

While this catalogue is largely geared towards the Fall and Winter holidays, you can use the products outside that seasonal window as I have here. I can’t wait to see what you make using these products! Be sure to tag me @cathycaines as well as @csmscrapbooker.
