MulltiCraft Forever in Time was the starting point for my “Happy Memories” 12X12 scrapbook layout.

Who can resist a jar full of flowers?
I was feeling a bit playful in my studio and these charming MultiCraft Forever in Time bottles filled with flowers were the inspiration for my whimsical vision. To build my base layer I stamp some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink on a non-porous surface (plastic sheet) then I spray some water on the ink.
After you spray the ink with water you pick up the plastic sheet and dab it onto the paper. I dapped one colour at a time.
I like the look of tone-on-tone so using the same colour of Ranger Oxide Inks and the MultiCraft Forever in Time floral stamps I stamp a variety of flowers on top of the background.
I always like to add in small details and doodles to my mixed media. On this page, I used my Soufflé pen by Sakura. The Soufflé pens go on wet and dark. They will lighten as they dry. I added some journaling on the page with the Soufflé pen, it’s difficult to see in the photograph as it blends in nicely with the Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. This is a nice feature when you want to add personal details or just hide some thoughts in your art.
To finish off the layout I added the MultiCraft Forever in Time floral stickers and puffy sentiments…whimsy achieved.

Great page. Love how the pens blend in with the inks.
I love those puffy stickers – especially the bottles! But I couldn’t find them anywhere :(.
