Hello! Kim here, sharing a cute, birthday card I’ve recently made! As I rummaged through my stash of previously made cards, I realized I was getting low on birthday cards! This will be a quick card to make multiples of, to have on hand!
For this card, I have used my Art Impression’s Cupcake BFFs stamp. I stamped it to the left side of a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Superstock. My sentiment was stamped separately and cut with a circle punch.
I colored the image with my NEW Chameleon Fineliner Pens, I adore them! Like their big sisters, the Chameleon Pens, the Fineliners can provide tonal, colour transitions like magic! Think how beautiful your journals and planners can be!
Here, however I have coloured my image using dots and lines – it is such a FUN way to colour smaller images!
I’ve added a narrow strip of patterned paper to the right sight, to balance the card and provide needed contrast; using a 6×6 sheet from the Forever In Time Watercolor collection. These stack pads from MultiCraft are the perfect size for card makers!
I used a variety of adhesives from Glue Dots to bring everything together! Microdots for the bling, Pop-up dots for the sentiment and an adhesive runner for my flat papers!
I’m really happy how this card turned out and am ready to start colouring more of my favourite Art Impression stamps! You should too!

I love the Ladie Stamps so much from Art Impression, always great for a good laugh.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card Kim and have a great week.
I absolutely love the way you’ve used the Chameleon Fineliners to colour the details on this fun birthday card image. Luv, luv, luv it and I’m inspired to try this technique with some of my AI stamps. Thanks so much!
