Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! Katelyn Grosart here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today, I’m sharing my whimsical Live Fully In the Season You’re In Wall Hanging perfect to add to any area of your home. To create my wall hanging, I’ve used a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, Cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, ink from Ranger Ink, embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies, the Fanciful Florals Collection by Nicole Wright Designs as well as stamps from Wild Whisper Designs and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my wall hanging at home. To start, choose one of the patterned papers out of the Fanciful Florals Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs. Die cut a 4 ½” Stitched Fishtail from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. From the Fanciful Florals Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs, you’ll need the paper with the florals in the top left and bottom right corners. Cut a 4” Stitched Fishtail from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the top right corner of the paper. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Choose another patterned paper out of the Fanciful Florals Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs. Die cut a 3 ½” Stitched Fishtail from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Die cut a 2 ¾” Stitched Circle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of Super Stock cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Place the Fanciful Blossom Stencil by Nicole Wright Designs from Wild Whisper Designs on the circle. Using a blending tool with foam and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, blend ink through the stencil. Remove the stencil and dry the circle. Apply Emboss It Ink from Ranger Ink to the Live Full quote off of the Strength of the Season Stamp Set from Wild Whisper Designs and stamp onto the circle. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powder by Quietfire Design from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over the entire quote and tap off the excess powder. Emboss the quote with a heat tool. From the Fanciful Florals Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs, you’ll need the paper with the florals in the top left and bottom right corners, that you already cut the white fishtail out of. Fussy cut one of the floral images out. Using a waterbrush and the Watercolor Palette from Elizabeth Craft Designs, colour in the fussy cut image as desired. From the Fanciful Florals Paper Pack from Wild Whisper Designs, you’ll need the paper with the florals all over it. Fussy cut eight flowers images out and eleven leaves. Using a waterbrush and the Watercolor Palette from Elizabeth Craft Designs, colour in the fussy cut flowers and leaves as desired. Ink the edges of the leaves and flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Using E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, adhere the 3 ½” fishtail to the 4” fishtail. Adhere the 4” fishtail to the 4 ½” fishtail. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the circle ¼” from the left and ¾” from the top of the 3 ½” fishtail. On the bottom right-hand side of the fishtail and quote circle use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the large floral image. In amongst the large floral image, use E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere to three flowers and five leaves as desired. On the top left side of the circle, use 3D Foam Squares and EZ Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere three flowers and four leaves. Just below you’re part of the quote, use 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere to the remaining two flowers and two leaves. To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the 4” fishtail and tie a piece of white twine through each hole to create the hanging portion of the wall.
