Well, what a weird summer it has been.
While most weddings this year have been rescheduled or postponed around the world, here in Newfoundland there are some scattered lovebirds tying the knot. Itβs so nice to try to get back to some normalcy. I think we can all agree, itβs great for the soul to have a reason to celebrate.
Throughout the past few months, Iβve been stamping images and watercolouring while watching TV with my husband. The Bloom and Grow Polymer Stamp by Stampinβ Up! is one of my favourites. I absolutely love the font pairings on this stamp set! 
This card begins with a sponged blue background. I like having a blue background on most of my cards to help anchor any images.Β I use a simple technique of sponging onto a white card base with the retired Stampinβ Up! Tempting Turquoise ink. Since I do this so often I actually do these in batches of 10 or 20 at once. 
Next I stamped the sentiment directly onto the blue background and then again using versamark on black cardstock with white embossing powder. Presto! After adhering the image and black font, I added some Whale of a Time Sequins to tie it all together.
