Well, what a weird summer it has been. While most weddings this year have been rescheduled or postponed around the world, here in Newfoundland there are some scattered lovebirds tying the knot. It’s so nice to try to get back to some normalcy. I think we can all agree, it’s great for the soul to have a reason to celebrate. Throughout the past few months, I’ve been stamping images and watercolouring while watching TV with my husband. The Bloom and Grow Polymer Stamp by Stampin’ Up! is one of my favourites. I absolutely love the font pairings on this stamp set! This card begins with a sponged blue background. I like having a blue background on most of my cards to help anchor any images. I found this photograph of my grandparents wedding in a shoe box. Both of my grandparents passed away quite some time ago and I think it is important to capture the who, what, when before all the details are forgotten. Actually, if the date of the wedding was not written on the back of the photo, I would have had no idea when they got married.
