Creative Scrapbooker's VIP Club

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas.  For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you my Just For You Gift Tin. To create my gift tin, I’ve used the Winter Market Collection from Echo Park Paper, Ink from Ranger Ink, and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my gift tin at home. To start, you’ll need a metal tin. Mine is 3 ½” x 2 5/8”. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece from each of the patterned papers that measure 1/8” x 12”. Ink the edges of both strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the snowflakes with white background paper out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 3 3/8” x 2 5/8”. Round all four corners of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the blue snowflake paper out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 3 1/8” x 2 3/8”. Round all four corners of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the branches with navy background paper out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 2 7/8” x 2 1/8”. Round all four corners of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the White Snowflake with the blue background out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut a piece that measures 2” x 2”. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Now, you’ll need the cut apart paper that has tiny white dots on the backside out of the Winter Market Paper pack from Echo Park Paper. Fussy cut the Let It Snow Banner, the Just For You Word Strip, one of the other word strip banner and the bunny. Trim the Just For You Word strip down to ¼” x 2 3/8”. Flip the other word strip banner over and cut in a notch on each side. Ink the edges of all the images and banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the tag paper out of the Winter Market Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Choose three tags and cut them out. Ink the edges of all three tags using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. The last element you’ll need is a snowflake off of the Element Sticker Sheet out of the Winter Market Collection from Echo Park Paper. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere one of the 1/8” strips around the top side of the gift tin. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the other  1/8” strip around the bottom side of the gift tin. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 3/8” paper to the top of the gift tin. Adhere the 3 1/8” paper to the 3 3/8” paper. Adhere the 2 7/8” paper to the 3 1/8” paper. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the Let It Snow Banner to the middle of the top of the tin. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 2” square to the middle of the banner. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the mint banner to the middle of the 2” square. Adhere one of the tags ¾” from the bottom and 1/8” from the right of the banner. Adhere the next tag ½” from the left and 1” from the top of the banner. Adhere the remaining tag ½” from the right and 1” from the top of the banner. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the snowflake to the middle of the tags. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the bunny to the middle of the snowflake. Adhere the Just For You word strip banner to the middle of the bunny as desired. Here are a few close-up photos of my gift tin. Thank you for joining me today and taking the time to check out my blog post. I hope that my Just For You Gift Tin has inspired you to recreate your own at home.
