I can’t stop playing with this A Tree Die from Picket Fence Studios. Picket Fence Studios A Tree DieHere is a quick little card I put together using it.Jackie Ludlage - Picket Fence Studios - Card Making - Creative Scrapbooker Magazine I started by die cutting out 3 trees from Ranger Simon Hurley Create cardstock. Ranger Simon Hurley Create Stark White Cardstock I adhered two of the trees together and coloured the third with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink. I then adhered the coloured tree on top of the two trees with some of the white showing behind. Next, I blended three shades of Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink onto a piece of cardstock. I used my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes for a perfect blend. Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender BrushesNext, I layed the Funky Leaves stencil from Picket Fence Studios on the background and added some white Distress ink. Picket Fences Studios 6X6 Funky Leaves Stencil The look is very soft and subtle. I spritzed with water cause I LOVE those white water dots! With my Ranger Dina Wakley Media acrylic paint and a Splatter Brush, I added some splatters to the background. Ranger Splatter Brush and Dina Wakley Media Acrylic PaintFor a final little touch on the background, I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops. Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops Ebony BlackNext I trimmed the trees where they overhang on the background using my Tonic Studios Tim Holtz scissors. Tonic Studios Tim Holtz Mini Snips ScissorsTo adhere the trees to the background, apply a strip of Sookwang double-sided tape onto a Ranger non-stick craft mat. Ranger Non Stick Craft MatRemove the backing and roll the adhesive into a log.  Now you can manipulate the adhesive log on the back of the tree to create a 3D effect when it adheres to the background. Finally, adhere the background to a white card base.Ranger Dylusions Stamps Stamp a sentiment using a Ranger Dylusions stamp with Ranger Archival ink onto white cardstock. Cut out and adhere to the card front.
That is all there is to it!
