Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blog post, I’m sharing with you how to create this Adventure Card which uses the Let’s Go Camping Collection from Echo Park Paper. Along with a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, ink from Ranger Ink and adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite summer beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home. To start, you’ll need the Wild Plaid Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 4” Stitched Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the Backpacks Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 3 3/4” Fitted Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Now, you’ll need the Adventure Awaits Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 3 1/2” Stitched Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the Happy Campers Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Die cut a 3 1/4” Fitted Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Now, you’ll need the 4×6 Journaling Cards Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut out the blue 4×6 card. Flip the card over and cut it down to 3” x 4”. Ink the edges of the card using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you’ll need the 3×4 Journaling Cards Paper out of the Lets Go Camping Paper Pack from Echo Park Paper. Cut out the adventure card and remove the plaid around it. Cut a second card out, flip it over and cut it down to 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”. Distress the edges of the cards. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Now, you need the Ephemera Pack in the Lets Go Camping Collection from Echo Park Paper. Take out the lantern and compass. Fussy cut around the lantern. Ink the edges of the lantern and compass using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Next, you need the Frames & Tags Pack in the Lets Go Camping Collection from Echo Park Paper. Take out the green plaid – camping, the red plaid rectangle, red plaid with holes frame and the triangle rectangle. Cut the red plaid with holes frame in half. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the green tree rectangle to the red plaid paper. Adhere the woodgrain rectangle to the green tree rectangle. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the red plaid rectangle 5/8” from the top and 1/4” from the left of the green plaid paper. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the green plaid rectangle to the woodgrain rectangle. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the sleeping bag paper 3/8” from the left and 1/4” from the bottom of the green plaid rectangle. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the adventure card to the 3×4 card. Adhere one of the red plaid with holes piece to the top and bottom of the 3×4 card. Adhere the triangle label 1/2” from the left and 5/8” from the top of the 3×4 card. Adhere the green plaid camping label 3/8” from the right and all the way to the bottom of the 3×4 card. Use 3D Foam Squares to adhere the 3×4 card 1/2” from the left and have it hand over the edges of the green plaid rectangle. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the compass to the bottom left corner of the adventure card. Use EZ Runner and 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the lantern to the left of the compass. To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of a piece of white cardstock that measures 5 1/4” x 8”, score at 4”. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase. Here are a few closeup photos of my card.
