Itβs hard to believe its March. Time has been painfully slow but also incredibly fast. These days I am really trying to create every day. Iβve had to be very intentional with my time , often just squeezing in 15 minutes here or there throughout the day. Todayβs project took over a week to finalize. I couldnβt find the right balance with any of these three layouts. I would leave them out on my desk hoping for something to jump out at me. Finally, I came across a navy blue piece of paper from Paige Evans Bugalow Lane collection in my stash. This piece of paper helped finish all three of these layouts. Sometimes just thumbing through your stash can spark some creativity. How fun are filters sometimes? This particular filter was supposed to create how you look as a Disney character. It happened to be prior to my baby girlβs eye surgery and this filter made her look so funny and cute. Yes, her eyes were a little wonky but that was my sweet pea at that time especially when her glasses were wrapped around her neck. I knew I wanted to include these photos in my albums. I am so glad I got this one off my list. Check! Letβs call the next two layouts βspinoffsβ. It just so happened that the two unfinished layouts remained on my desk but when I added the scraps to them, I felt I could call them done. Just like that, I could plop these three layouts in my albums. It may have taken a week but lately itβs all about the process and self-care for me.
Try flipping through your stash if you have hit a wall. Maybe youβd find a navy blue piece of paper!
