Itβs never too early to start your Winter and Christmas crafting!! Β If youβre like me, I create for all seasons and occasions all year round so Iβm not dealing with it last minute when all I want to do is enjoy the creative process and not feel rushed π
I absolutely LOVE the Pink & Main coordinating stamps and dies and just all the crafty awesomeness they offer!! Β They sure make it easy to pull cohesive looks together and inspire creativity! For these cards, I used the Snow Day patterned paper collection along with the Snow Day stamp and die, Snow Day embossing folder and stencil. Β I also used the coordinating sequins and the gorgeous Wintergreen embossing powder!Β To create the Hello Winter Shaker card, I applied Ranger Opaque Texture Paste through the stencil to an A2 piece of white cardstock and once that dried, I attached to a piece of the Snow Day patterned paper before attaching to my card. Β I just knew that cute little Snow Globe from the Snow Day die cut would make the cutest shaker..I was right π I love it!! Β I used the die to cut 4 layers of card stock to build up the base to create the shaker from. Β Using Black StazOn ink, I stamped the Hello Winter sentiment onto a piece of acetate and trimmed to fit the opening of the snow globe. Β Before adhering the layers together, I added some of the sequins for the fun shaker and wrapped a piece of ribbon around it.
I finished this card off by adding a few of the sequins to the card panelβ¦who doesnβt love some extra bling π
To create the Warm Wishes card, I used the Snow Day embossing folder with a piece of white cardstock for the front panel layered onto a grey cardstock followed by another piece of the fun Snow Day patterned paper. That gorgeous snowflake from the Snow Day stamp set was created by stamping and heat embossing the image with the Wintergreen embossing powderβ¦itβs such a beautiful mix of colours!!
For added dimension, I attached the snowflake using foam adhesive.
I then white heat embossed the sentiment on coordinating grey cardstock and adhered to my card front. I truly hope these cards have inspired you to get crafty AND to check out the Pink & Main Crafty Courtyard Kit Monthly Subscription!
