1. Prepare the Base Base layer for Halloween tag project with black and gold paper and script pattern, part of Halloween Town Collection by Simply Stated Design
To start, cut a 1 ¾” x 2 ¾” piece from the black and gold paper (Halloween Town Paper 10) and a 1 ½” x 2 ¾” piece from the script paper. Sand the edges of both papers for a vintage look.

2. Add Ephemera Halloween Town Essentials Ephemera pieces for tag project, including a bat, orange/black tag, and tab, prepped with sanded edges from Simply Stated Design.Use the Halloween Town Essentials Ephemera to select the orange/black tag, tab, and bat. Fussy cut around the bat to remove the white outline, and sand the edges of the tag and tab.

3. Embellish with Focal PiecesBook with a pumpkin illustration from Halloween Town Scenes Ephemera by Simply Stated Design for spooky Halloween tag project.
Select the pumpkin book from the Scenes Ephemera and the witch holding a pumpkin from the Quirky Ephemera. Fussy cut each piece, removing the white outlines for a seamless look.

4. Add the Sentiment'Got candy?' sentiment from Halloween Town Sentiments Ephemera by Simply Stated Design, prepped with notched right side for Halloween tag project.
From the Sentiments Ephemera, take the “got candy?” text, notching the right side for added detail.

5. Assemble the Tag
Using the E-Z Runner, adhere the black and gold paper 1/8” from the left and ¼” from the bottom of the tag. Place the script paper slightly offset for a layered effect.
