Instructions
- Prepare the Pages
Begin by hand-cutting the sentiment tabs and tags from the Reminiscence the Book 5 cardstock. Back brown cardstock with double-sided adhesive and die-cut the reinforcements using the Reinforcement Variety Pack. Cut the base page and ticket half page with tabs from the Sidekick Essentials set. - Modify the Page Width
For the second page, trim the side with holes to 3 ¼” and remove the excess. Add reinforcement strips for consistency. Die-cut leaves from beige cardstock and branches from brown cardstock using the Floral Foliage 1 set. - Spray and Shape the Leaves
Place the leaves in a cardboard box for easy cleanup. Spray them with Flickering Candle Mica Stain, followed by Vintage Photo Spray Stain. Fold each leaf along the center for added dimension. - Emboss the Dried Leaf
Press a dried leaf onto the VersaMark ink pad, sprinkle with Weathered Gold embossing powder, and heat to set. This gives a beautiful golden shimmer to the leaf. - Distress the Edges
Use Frayed Burlap Distress Ink around the edges of the leaves, pages, tickets, and tabs for a rustic autumn look. - Assemble the Layout
For the left page, glue down the tag on three sides, leaving one side open as a pocket. Attach the handle tab to create a photo pocket. For the right page, arrange the photos, sentiment tabs, and paper leaves as shown. Finish by adding labels with your personalized text.
