Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Kim here today with a fun camping inspired layout that I hope you’ll enjoy! I am blessed with a craft room and lots of supplies to choose from. That may sound amazing, but honestly at times I think it stalls my creativity, giving me too many choices. On this particular scrapbooking session, I narrowed down my focus and picked a few products to work with, which in turn forces the other stuff out of the wayThe products I choose to work with were, Echo Park’s Little Lumberjack collection, Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essentials and MultiCraft glitter. I started by adhering 2 sheets of patterned paper together using Glue Dots Adhesive Sheets. Using the die from Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essentials set, I cut out two pages for my layout. I didn’t stress over which directions the tabs would be. They could have been high or low on…

I have made 2020 the year that I take the planner plunge. I have two planners going at the moment; one for every day and a Vacation scrapbook-planner for an upcoming trip. For my vacation planner,Β  I’m using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Champaign colored album with the powder blue inside. I like the pop of blue on the inside! I have a confession to make. After only a few weeks of creating planner pages… I’m totally addicted! I am loving the challenge of figuring out how many different ways I can use the dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essential line. There are pages, tags and many embellishment dies to choose from. You can create planner pages and tags out of a lot of different materials. I came home recently with this fabulous paper shopping bag: I knew the minute I saw it that I had to reuse the map…

Hello again everyone! Leah O’Neil here with you on the blog today, with the last post of my Creative Planners blog series. Over the past year, I’ve enjoyed showing you some creative ways to use and decorate your planners. Today, I’m showing you how I useΒ  creative planners to document gratitude. I have dedicated whole journals and creative planners to this in the past, which is definitely a fun and fulfilling way to fill pages. In this case however, I had a week in my weekly spiral planner that I didn’t use, so the pages were blank. It’s funny how this happens sometimes (to me) – I had an incredibly busy week that week but I kept forgetting my planner and just ended up making loads of to do lists instead. Whenever I have weeks like this where I don’t use my planner as much, for whatever reason, I like…

Hello creative friends! Leah O’Neil here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Welcome back to my creative planning blog series where I show you a variety of planners and creative ways to use them. Today I want to show you one of my favorite new products from Simple Stories, the Vintage Floral travelers notebooks. Travelers notebooks are so portable and easy to carry with you anywhere. You can load them up with notebook inserts that you can customize in SO MANY ways! I used mine as a travel journal on my recent trip to Oregon and Southern California. I was able to use it to easily jot down memories and store away little mementos I picked up while on the trip. I didn’t have a lot of time for decorating my pages while on vacation, but I made sure to take lots of notes about how we spent our…

Welcome back fellow creative planners! This is Leah O’Neil from the Simple Stories creative team, joining you on the blog again today for the next installment of my Creative Planning blog series. In this series, it is my goal to demonstrate to you a variety of ways you can use and decorate your Carpe Diem planners.Β  So far, I’ve shown you how I set up an overall wellness planner, and some of the ways I decorate my day-to-day life planner. Today’s post is about using a planner for memory keeping.Documenting memories is very important to me and brings me a lot of joy. These days, I don’t create many 12×12 scrapbook pages because I do all of my memory keeping in my planner and a traveler’s notebook. I like the ease of incorporating memory keeping into my planner since I already have it with me most of the time. You…

Hello everyone – Tracy McLennon here today! Are you a planner lover like I am? Even before decorative planners were β€œa thing” in the paper crafting world, I enjoyed keeping organized with a paper planner. I never went digital. So I thought I would share what my planner pages look like before I begin the month. Over time I add little notes here and there, appointments, memories and to-do lists.Project Recipe: Simple Stories- Carpe Diem Collection: Planner, Epoxy Metal Clips, Washi Tape and Binder Rings Simple Stories- Domestic Bliss Collection: patterned paper, clear stickers, sticker sheets Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- EZ RunnerI love how the squares in the stickers sheets from…
